Effects of high intensity interval training on trace minerals and physiological parameters in tennis players

Background and Study Aim. This study investigated the effects of HIIT (high-intensity interval training) implementations on some serum elements, resting heart rate, total body weight, BMI parameters in tennis players.
 Material Methods. The group consisted 20 athletes (aged 18-22) who were actively playing tennis. divided into experimental (n=10) control group. To assign participants to these groups homogeneously, preliminary measurements made before study, results used for clustering analysis. While continued their regular training, was given additional three days a week besides training. Measurements BMI, weight taken, samples collected after training from both groups. SPSS package program data level significance set at p<0.05 tests. Participants showed significant differences sodium, calcium, iron, between (p<0.05).
 Results. However, no found potassium, chlorine, magnesium (p>0.05). within-group levels decreased post-test, while iron higher post-test compared pre-test value (p<0.05). On other hand, values similar within group, there (p>0.05).
 Conclusions. Training remodelled with implementation can affect athletes' element levels, rate. In addition, increase due important. We believe that this may muscle contraction functions efficiency performance output. Lastly, decrease calcium sodium elements implementations, we suggest applications should not be performed unsupervised. by tracking athletes, they supported supplements or nutritional meals line expert advice when necessary.
